Bixpy Announces Universal Transom Adapter, Plus More!

In the pursuit of continual improvements, Bixpy has announced a new version of the Universal Transom adapter. More robust in every way, and includes the tiller arm in different lengths as well. Bixpy has also released the Easy Mount Slipstream adapter (also known as the Primal mount) which features a Power Pole hole pattern that will fit onto a number of popular kayak and SUP models that are Power Pole ready; Bonafide, Hobie, Kaku, and Bote to name a few. If your kayak comes with a 10mm pin style rudder, then the recently released Bixpy Universal Rudder Adapter would work well. We’ve personally tested this configuration on a few kayaks including the Vibe Sea Ghost, Vibe Yellowfin 120 and 130T, as well as Bonafide SS127’s. Setting these up with the already installed foot steering is seamless and a breeze to set up. Whichever route you go, all configurations easily mount quickly and cleanly. Bixpy Universal Transom Adapter

With the Bixpy Universal Transom Adapter, you can attach your Bixpy Jet to virtually any watercraft with a flat vertical mounting surface. This includes most dinghies, some kayaks, personal pontoons and a variety of other watercraft. The aluminum pipe will adjust to accommodate virtually any depth to meet your needs.

This kit also includes a complete steering mechanism that will allow you to steer the motor for full control of your kayak. The shaft holding the motor also features a “kick-up” mechanism that will allow the motor to release and swing if it hits bottom.

Easy Mount Slipstream Adapter – Bixpy Edition

The Easy Mount Slipstream Adapter – Bixpy Edition allows you to quickly and easily add a Bixpy Jet on your kayak using your standard power pole hole pattern.

If your kayak will accommodate a Micro Anchor Power Pole, you can download this template and make your own trolling adapter with the Easy Mount Slipstream – Bixpy Edition.

If your kayak is Power Pole ready, but requires a special mounting plate (i.e. some Hobie kayaks, Atak, etc.) you will need that mounting plate from your kayak manufacturer.

Bixpy Universal Rudder Adapter

One of the simplest, fastest and most efficient ways to use the Bixpy on a kayak is on the rudder of the kayak. However, not all kayaks have rudders and the ones that do, don’t always offer a robust enough rudder mount to run the motor well and without damaging the kayak.

The Bixpy Universal Rudder Adapter is designed to give you the option to mount a rudder on virtually any kayak. If your kayak already has a robust 10mm pin hole for a rudder, all you need is the Bixpy Universal Rudder Adapter. If your kayak doesn’t already have a 10mm pin holder for a rudder, you can purchase the Bixpy Gudgeon, which provides a super robust and adaptable 10mm rudder pin holder for your Bixpy Universal Rudder Adapter.

The Bixpy Universal Rudder Adapter features a pull cord, a kick up feature and “lock-down” for reverse speeds.

We also offer two options for steering your rudder, a hand steering option and a foot pedal option, each sold separately.
