Lift Foils Unveils New eFoil Models: LIFT5 & LIFTX
Lift Foils recently unveiled their latest eFoil models, the LIFT5 and LIFTX, at the Boot Düsseldorf boat show. This launch represents a significant advancement in eFoil technology for 2025, aiming to enhance the riding experience with innovative features and user-friendly designs.
The All-New LIFT5 eFoil Platform
Effortless Setup: The LIFT5 utilizes the Lift Connect System (LCS) for its batteries, masts, wings & propulsion system, allowing for a tool-less design that simplifies assembly. Riders can quickly set up the LIFT5 by inserting the mast into the board, locking it in place, and securing the battery, enabling more time for riding.
Whilst most of the LIFT5 platform is no longer backwards compatible, Lift users can still enjoy the vast selection of previously released Lift wings.
Quiet Operation: One of the standout features of the LIFT5 is its remarkably quiet operation. The direct drive motor is integrated into the propulsion unit, eliminating the noisy planetary gearboxes found in competitor models. Lift’s proprietary Quiet Ride Technology reduces noise levels significantly, allowing riders to immerse themselves in the experience without distractions.
Advanced Battery Technology:
Safety Features: The LIFT5 is equipped with a watertight IP68 rated Gen5 battery, ensuring protection against moisture. A fault reporting system detects impacts and water ingress, enhancing rider safety. Additionally, optimized cell spacing works with an aluminum thermal plate to maintain safe operating temperatures.
Power and Convenience: Utilizing the 21700 cell format, the battery offers excellent power, extended ride times, and unmatched acceleration. One-handed battery installation simplifies the setup process, and Bluetooth data streaming provides real-time ride data and battery health information.
2025 LIFT eFoil Models
LIFT5
The completely redesigned LIFT5 sets a new standard in the eFoil industry, offering unmatched performance, convenience, and user-friendliness. Drawing on Lift’s tradition of innovation and a rider-centric approach, the LIFT5 is a comprehensive rethinking of eFoil technology.
The streamlined user interface includes one-button operation and data transfer capabilities. In addition, all of the previous cable connections have been eliminated reducing assembly time from minutes to mere seconds. The advanced propulsion system features a new eBox with enhanced water cooling for superior performance. The elite hand controller, made from lightweight carbon fiber and titanium, includes an adjustable trigger, GPS tracking, and a color display for easy monitoring.

LIFT5 F
The LIFT5 F brings advanced technology to a broader audience at a more affordable price point. It features a durable fiberglass board and aluminum mast, ensuring high performance while keeping costs lower.
This model maintains the quick setup design, with easy LCS assembly for the mast, battery, and propulsion system. Bolt-on wings allow for straightforward maintenance and customization. The Gen5 battery technology ensures optimal ride duration, and many components are compatible with the flagship LIFT5 model, allowing for future upgrades.

LIFTX
The LIFTX transforms the foiling experience by merging the adaptability of a surf foil with electric assistance. It also utilizes the Lift Connect System (LCS) for its batteries, masts, and wings, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly setup experience across both models.
Its ultralight construction makes it significantly lighter than traditional eFoils, improving maneuverability and ease of transport. The compact LIFTX battery delivers impressive performance without compromising the surf foil experience.
The LIFTX empowers riders to explore various locations and conditions, from lake wake riding to ocean downwinding.
